War Memorials in Barnet
There are over 100 locations within the London Borough of Barnet where War Memorials may be found. The list to the right hand side of this page shows where those locations are.
Quite often, in churches and the like, you may find there are several different memorials at one location. Examples of what you might find are: a lynch gate at the entrance to the church with an engraved dedication or plaque, a stained glass window, bronze or stone plaques affixed to the walls and even an organ or font which was donated or renovated in memory of someone lost in a conflict.
We are planning to create a page for each location which will feature information and photographs of each of the memorials including the names on the memorial and, in time, something about each of those named.
Please note that many of the locations are private places or are not open to the general public and nothing in this website is intended to suggest otherwise.
